The Swine Flu is baffling Mexican doctors as they do not know where this virus originated. It has killed up to 149 people in Mexico to date. One thing was validated, however. That is the cases of the virus in the U.S. and Mexico seem to all be genetically identical for the most part. According to experts the virus derived from a pig with avian and human flu strains. "At some point someone in a rural area came into contact with a pig that was infected, or as it was transported, or at a slaughterhouse," said Dr Joan Nichols of the University of Texas Medical Branch. So keep an eye out.
